Press Release 8 April 2010“Completely different” experience in store for Maggie Moore, winner of The Moorings gate prize The 2010 Auckland International Boat Show gave all visitors the chance to enter a draw to win a seven-day yacht charter in Tonga with The Moorings. This year the lucky winner was Maggie Moore from Waitakere, who will be taking her partner on this exciting venture. Moore worked for twelve years previously as an entertainer on board professional cruise ships around the South Pacific, and says this trip “couldn’t have come at a better time. My partner and I have been working extremely long hours, and really looking forward to spending some quality time together. It’s something completely different, we’ve never done anything like it before, and we are just so excited.” Shane Walker from the Moorings is delighted to “once again provide this fantastic opportunity. Our ongoing support for Boat Show allows us to promote our charters in Tonga and New Zealand to people who would not normally consider sailing as a holiday.
